The Martin F. Dickerson collection are the materials of Mr. Dickerson's from his time enrolled in two correspondence courses through the Michigan State Normal College in 1954. Students who were unable to have their course needs met through the extension office were allowed to take correspondence courses, which if completed satisfactorily would carry the same weight as those taken on campus.
